El panorama mediático está tan condicionado por intereses dominantes y fuerzas de control que distinguir entre lo objetivo y lo manipulado resulta cada vez más difícil. La irrupción de la inteligencia artificial no ha hecho sino intensificar esta confusión, amplificando la sensación de desconcierto.
D-AI surge como un proyecto que reflexiona sobre esta problemática y busca activar una mirada crítica, fomentando el debate en torno a la información que consumimos en una época marcada por la posverdad y la inteligencia artificial. Se vuelve imprescindible preguntarnos hacia dónde nos conduce esta alteración de lo real.
Partiendo del proyecto anterior de Rojo Sache, Dai, que cuestionaba la explotación mediática de asesinatos cometidos en paisajes apartados, este nuevo trabajo adopta la forma de un periódico que reúne diversas noticias de sucesos. Tanto los textos como las imágenes, concebidas como variaciones de las originales, han sido generados mediante inteligencia artificial, dando lugar a una realidad alternativa más inquietante, ambigua y profundamente perturbadora.

The media landscape is so conditioned by dominant interests and controlling forces that distinguishing between the objective and the manipulated becomes increasingly difficult. The rise of artificial intelligence has only intensified this confusion, amplifying our sense of disorientation.
D-AI emerges as a project that reflects on this problem and seeks to activate a critical gaze, encouraging debate around the information we consume in an age shaped by post-truth and artificial intelligence. It becomes essential to ask ourselves where this alteration of reality is leading us.
Building on Rojo Sache’s earlier project Dai—which questioned the media exploitation of murders committed in remote landscapes—this new work takes the form of a newspaper that compiles various crime-related reports. Both the texts and the images, conceived as variations of the originals, have been generated through artificial intelligence, creating an alternative reality that is more unsettling, ambiguous, and deeply disquieting.
